Startup City Fukuoka is the initiative of the Fukuoka City Government with the mission of developing a startup ecosystem in the city. The initiative runs several projects to support local startups and attract entrepreneurs from overseas to start or expand their businesses in Fukuoka. The initiative works with several experienced mentors to create a supportive environment. Global Startup Center, Fukuoka Growth Next, and Startup Package are examples of how Startup City Fukuoka contributes to the ecosystem’s development. The initiative also supports local startups who want to extend their operations to overseas countries through partnerships with other cities and countries.
